Will be a while before even attempt to go here again and some serious need to look at what made the bar successful as its seriously lost its way. The only trouble was by the time u do this the bar stops serving at 12.25 and the place closes at 12.45 despite advertising a closing time of one! Pretty much sums up a disappointing end to a disappointing night. The saving grace is the music, a great variety of 80s tunes should lead a packed dance floor that despite all of the above gets everyone up and dancing. The toilet was met with someone having thrown up in the urinal, despite alerting the bar staff it was the same half an hour later. They are served in smaller glasses and are basically a glass of orange juice for 7.50, very little alcohol in it. The cocktail menu now consists of one cocktail, two if you're lucky. The overall style of the bar is a stripped-down space, with raw materials such as exposed brick walls, wired-glass and bare-bulb lighting. Behind the DJ table a shelving system was designed to display a collection of retro album covers.Īn opening was made in the wall between the bar and club and a hidden secret door added in the timber panelling that connects through to the club space at the weekends. REWIND BAR SERIES
The back bar display consists of a series of copper clad boxes with mirror and integrated lighting for the bottle display. The bar has a richly veined marble top and clad with reclaimed timber slats at the sides.
The serving bar was located close to the entrance and built-in lounge seating added next to the courtyard window. We are a hot destination to unwind, get your drink on, play classic arcade games.
The entrance of the bar was from a narrow corridor, and so this space was emphasised by cladding the wall with timber panelling and customized wall lamps. The Rewind is an 80s themed bar located in the heart of Cedar Rapids.
REWIND BAR FULL
The kitchen and enclosing walls were removed to open up the space and the back wall replaced with full height steel-framed glazing onto to the small outdoor courtyard. The brief was to convert the space into a lounge/ cocktail bar that could be connected to the adjacent club next door. The 105m 2 space was formally a bar and café with half of the space taken up by an enclosed kitchen area. Rewind bar is located in the Tanjong Pagar area of Singapore, close to Chinatown.
